Technical Product Manager
Bring AI to the real world. Your work will make supply chains self-improving: save lives and slash waste for the world's most challenging settings.

Macro-Eyes is recruiting a Technical Product Manager to build products that transform crucial supply chains - saving lives and slashing waste. Our technology is at work across some of the most challenging settings on earth - creating self-improving supply chains with first of its kind AI at the core. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product development. You will work directly with a talented team of designers, cross-functional engineers, machine learning scientists and subject area specialists across the organization. Bring cutting-edge AI to crucial supply chains; unf**k the planet; enable organizations to do more with less; have a purpose. Your success will result in scaling life changing solutions for the world’s most vulnerable populations.

  • Design and execute on the product roadmap for STRIATA: enterprise software that creates the self-improving supply chain, providing enhanced capabilities to forecast consumption, position resources and assess infrastructure, and predict behavior, even in low data and high uncertainty environments.
  • Use active, global deployments of our technology to test product features and accelerate understanding of what's possible.
  • Define and manage product roadmap including KPIs to support and inform product decisions. Operational excellence.
  • Capture, document, and communicate business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into features and user stories. Ensure the technical team understands the requirements.
  • Own project status updates to customers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data to drive better health outcomes at scale
  • Travel as needed to conduct and lead user interviews, engaging with partners and customers across 10+ countries (and counting).
  • Go beyond digital environments: develop ambitious plans - and execute - to extend the reach of software into the physical world. Create symbiosis between intelligent systems and the physical world to do more with everything.
  • 5-10 years experience delivering and overseeing software and digital interventions.
  • Comprehensive experience in product discovery, demo design and rapid-testing methods.
  • A data-first mindset with proven track record of delivering successful products.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative but unstructured environment.
  • Experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Capability to illustrate a vision that compels a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to work toward a common goal.
  • The art and science of understanding how to use what people want, to deliver what they need.

We believe experience in several, very different domains would be valuable for shaping product at Macro-Eyes. We’re particularly excited if you have product expertise in gaming (interactive entertainment) or have held a product role in a non-digital industry (manufacturing, maritime, CPG).

What we ask of you:

  • Take a task and run with it - there’s very little hierarchy.
  • Be forthcoming and accountable. About time, scope, questions, needs, options, deliverables.
  • Be nice to work with. Nothing extraordinary was ever achieved alone.
  • Exercise a product frame of mind: persistent drive to design and build structures that are repeatable and scalable.
  • Demo, Deploy, Repeat. Think about how to show, rather than tell, what you’re building. Engage with real systems and real world data as soon as possible to validate and learn.

What you need to bring:

  • Comfortable working with small groups in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Energy, boundless curiosity, open-mindedness.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Respect for audiences and users. Willingness to step into someone else’s shoes (and the imagination to do so).

Why you want to work with us:

  • Real-world impact (measured in lives saved) and state-of-the-art science. We develop technology and products that save lives and help organizations do more with fewer resources. We break new ground in AI by creating systems that learn from sparse, complex data in some of the most challenging environments on earth.
  • Highly competitive compensation and generous benefits.
  • We are growing sustainably at a rapid rate and engaged in many of the most important issues of our time. Being part of MACRO-EYES is rich in opportunity.
  • Work with an amazing, diverse group of people.
  • Work from almost anywhere. This role will be remote with the freedom to choose how and when to work. Our remote team was executing at the highest level before COVID-19, and we expect to continue to be a largely remote, high-performing team. In continuation of defying the trend, we will open our first physical offices in 2022. You will have access to your choice of hardware and a travel budget to interact with the distributed team in person.
